In February March 2023 Gram Sewa Samiti organized one week long Betwa Rivers Study and Awareness March. In this March more than 50 environmentalist from eight States of India participated in 200 kilometres March covering hundreds of villages situated on the banks of Betwa River known as the Ganga of Central India.

During this March the participants interacted with thousands of students of schools and residents of villages, towns and cities across the route. At various places like the site of origin of Betwa river at Jhiri village of Raisen district of Madhya Pradesh, the pauranic city of Vidisha and Ganjbasoda town special programs were held where the people’s representatives, officers of administration and intellectuals of society discussed the plans for preventing the pollution of Betwa River. In June a review meeting of the group was held at Gandhi Gram Sewa Kendra Char Mandali, M.P.,where it was resolved that the group will continue with awareness programs till Betwa becomes free of pollution.
