The idea of Gram Sewa Samiti was conceptualized in 2017 to mark the grand celebrations of 150th┬аbirth year of Mahatma Gandhi and Kasturba Gandhi in 2018-19 by initiating a comprehensive project of selfless service of rural development.
Through Gram Sewa Samiti, we aspire for increasing the awareness of тАЬLook beyond yourself”, which not only results into betterment of the left behind communities of our society but also give immense self-gratification and a chance to pay gratitude to the almighty for providing us the opportunity to serve the really needy people of villages.┬а┬а
Over a short period, this movement of holistic development of villages has grown tremendously as several like minded people have joined us in sharing their resources by way of generous donations and active participation in execution of our various programmes for rural development in several villages across India.┬а
Two small libraries are established in both the Gram Sewa Kendra. The library contains books related to Sarvodaya Sahitya, literature
Every last Sunday of the month a regular monthly medical camp is held at both the villages,where patients of nearby villages are treated free of cost.
For encouraging the alternative source of energy street solar lights at strategic locations in the village were also also installed.
Facilities for common sports like Kabaddi, Volleyball, Badminton etc have been created in the villages for the benefit of students and youth.
